Beautiful The Plough at Leigh Barn Wedding Kent | Becky & Jason
It really is a sign of the times that Jason and Becky met online, but there’s definitely something classic about the love they have for each other. I first met Jason and Becky at one of The Plough’s Wedding Shows and as I got to know them I learnt that Jason works in construction, whilst Becky works in a Primary school… just guess who is currently working on their new bathroom!)!

The couple fell in love with the high ceilings and exposed beams of The Plough’s barn and on the day, it was decorated with fairy lights and fuchsia accents, flowers in water jugs and even wood in-graved love hearts for the guest wedding favours. All these little touches and handmade notes of thanks lets everyone know how much they really appreciate their appearance on the day.
When I first met Becky she was suffering from a lot of back problems and she was even worried that she would have to use crutches to help her get down the aisle. Sometimes you just have to joke about these things to get you through it, but in the end, nothing was going to stop Becky. One the day she didn’t seem too bothered by the pain. Yes it could have been the painkillers working their magic but I like to think that the excitement of the day itself, helped to ease and distract her from it!
After the ceremony was over, we took a trip to Leigh and found the most gorgeous old building with a gated entrance and more yellow daffodils than you could poke a stick at. It was just the perfect place to add a pop of colour to the couple’s wedding album. There was a moment we got a bit of a scare when the building’s owner came out to check what we were doing. We were on private land so you never know how someone is going to react but luckily, she was happy for us to take a few quick shots. We were incredibly thankful and generally most people give a lot when they see it’s a couples wedding day, but I just never take anything for granted.
When I hear a couple say they loved their pictures, that really does it for me and I don’t expect anything more or really need anything more. But when a couple goes out of their way to send me a thank you card, well, that is just the cherry on the cake (happy with marshmallows too, oh I love them)!
