Joyful Berkhamsted School Wedding Hertfordshire
With a ceremony held in the beautiful 19th Century chapel at Berkhamsted School, Castle Campus, Laura and Martin’s intimate service was a gift to photograph thanks to the chapel’s high vaulted ceilings and the streams of natural light that it welcomes. The wedding breakfast and evening reception were held in the beautiful Deans’ Hall which is situated right next to the chapel, and offers stunning grounds, gorgeous walkways and magnificent archways, making it a perfectly picturesque location for this laid-back wedding.
The day started out on an emotional note for Martin, the groom, as he took some time out with his best man to read a touching message from his bride-to-be Laura before the big day. However, after a teary start, the day gave way to plenty of laughs and frivolities such as the cheeky page boy who got so close to licking the cupcake display, only to be foiled by the best man interrupting them with a dramatic “Nooo!”. They did look super delicious though, who wouldn’t want to take a bite?!
After this near miss earlier in the day, when the time did come for cake, the page boys had to really work for it by giving out the cupcakes to all of the guests, under the watchful eye of Laura of course! Other highlights of the day came from the boys waltzing together on the dance floor for a laugh (not to be upstaged by some killer dance moves seen later on in the night, with a few salsa moves thrown in for good measure), and the fantastic photo props such as horses’ heads, moustaches, pipes and glasses on sticks which brought some silliness to the occasion.
Light-hearted, lively and lots of fun, Laura and Martin’s wedding was a fantastic day, and one that the guests will remember for years to come.
