Fairy tale Moreteyne Manor Wedding Bedford
Everyone dreams of a fairy tale wedding, and by this measure, Bryony and Paul’s big day was straight out of a storybook. With a ceremony held at St Andrews Church, followed by a wedding breakfast and reception at the unique Moreteyne Manor in Bedford, this truly was a dream wedding.
Wearing a suit in the colours of his favourite football team (Chelsea), Paul played the part of Prince Charming, while Bryony looked every bit the princess as she walked down the aisle. With her long flowing hair and graceful long veil (which is all the rage at the minute!), the bride exuded elegance and style before breaking the tension and linking arms with Paul the groom at the altar. Helping to add to the relaxed feel of the day, the Vicar at the church was really easy going, whispering to Paul as he passed him down the aisle to put him at ease.
With beautiful grounds, and a real outdoorsy, English garden feel, the bride and bridesmaids’ wild summer meadow bouquets complimented this theme perfectly. With their loose curls, chiffon dresses and Bryony’s flat open sandals, a hippy-esque easy-going scene was set. The Country House look complemented this theme thanks to their marquee, white table cloths and wild flowers on the tables, alongside the very on-trend ‘naked cake’ which was complete with summer berries.
It’s always such a pleasure to photograph a wedding at a beautiful location like Moreteyne Manor, and the stunning scenery and green gardens were the ideal location for some cracking couple photos to help remember this special day. Simple, stunning and down to earth, Paul and Bryony’s wedding was a beautiful day with some really lovely personal touches throughout.
