Multicultural Croydon Park Hotel Surrey Wedding
A little bit of sun goes a long way, and luckily for Zara and Michael, the skies were blue as they said their vows in Croydon Town Hall. Dressed in a suave trilby hat and beige suit jacket, Michael looked every bit the gentleman as he waited eagerly for his bride. Thankfully, he wasn’t waiting long for Zara to happily make her way to the front of the room in her stunning classic sweetheart wedding gown.
Not to be upstaged by the bride, the men in the wedding party all wore bowties that reflected their original style, with handmade button holes featuring Lego figures to add a bit of fun to the occasion. The two page boys both wore adorable matching navy waistcoats with shorts to suit their age, and it was lovely to see the older boy looking after the younger one throughout the day, whilst the bridesmaids were on trend with their beautiful colour co-ordinated dresses of different styles.
After the ceremony, we headed to Queen’s Gardens for the group photos, with clear skies and lush greenery, this was the perfect spot for wedding photos; a total gem of a park in the heart of central Croydon full of fantastic photo opportunities and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Once the formal photos were finished, it was off to The Centennial Suite at the Croydon Park Hotel for the wedding breakfast, the speeches and a bit of a boogie. All in all, it was my favourite type of wedding to photograph – everyone was so relaxed and up for a good celebration, a perfect recipe for natural wedding photos.
