Plough Barn Hildenborough Wedding | Nikki & James
It’s always a treat to shoot a wedding at Plough Barn Hildenborough. Seeing the barn all set up for Nikki and James’ big day, it was a rustic lover’s dream. Wild flowers, mason jars and navy-blue accessories. This wedding had a classic vintage feel, which was only enhanced by the Rolls Royce wedding car.

Family always helps out with the planning of a wedding, whether emotionally or physically. Nikki’s mum was a charmer, joining in when I caught up with Nikki in the run up to the day. This catch-up helps to put everyone at ease. I make sure I understand what is important and what I should be focused on throughout the wedding.
It’s always great to see kids running around and having fun at a Plough Barn Hildenborough Wedding. There were so many cute ones joining Nikki and James that I was a little spoilt for choice. Everyone one of them could have been on the front of kid’s magazine.Especially the little flower girls with their gorgeous flower crowns. But it wasn’t just the kids who were playing about and having fun, the rest of the guests were every bit as playful. This energy made for some cracker photos, especially the photo I took of the bridal party running towards the camera. It was James’ usher Ryan’s request. He really made that shot what it is, check it out!
For some, the most memorable part of any wedding (apart from the marriage itself, obviously) is the speeches. James’ brother John absolutely killed it! It with a pretty revealing speech that had Nikki in awe just looking at James in disbelief. All of the guests were gasping for air as they laughed. Just brilliant! I had to remind myself I was there to do a job rather than just stand there and laughing my head off!
