As a Crown Inn Pishill Wedding Photographer, I love getting out to Oxfordshire to capture weddings. The Crown Inn is a beautiful little venue in Henley-On-Thames. There is 400-year-old thatched Barn that sits behind one of the most gorgeous gardens. You’ll be blown away the first time you see it. I certainly was! It is just full of colour, wild flowers that just match the Barn perfectly.
I started with Angharad in The Cottage. It’s a former stable block around 200 years old and it sits beside the Barn. It is quite cute, very pretty. This little one-bedroom really feels like the definition of a fairy-tale cottage. If you are looking for a venue that is quite sweet and cosy, this one could be for you!
As Angharad was walking down the aisle, you could see the nerves getting to Gareth. I totally get it, who wouldn’t be. The Barn holds up to 80 of your closest family and friends. So even if you are totally at ease with public speaking on your day job, it is sometimes harder in-front of your nearest and dearest.
Behind the Barn there is a set of steps leading you up to the secluded Barn Garden. It catches the afternoon sunshine and sunset, and is filled with tables for your guests to relax on. It is the perfect place to enjoy an English Summers Day.
Once the sunsets, guests can head to the front garden and relax within the wild flowers. It has a real oasis feel to it and the dance floor is just a few steps away in the Barn. The staff are amazing! Chloe runs the team there and they will do everything they can to make sure you have a delightful wedding.
