Plough and Barn at Leigh | Katie & Neil
This bunch of people just cracked me up all day! From the Groom and Bridal Prep until when we ended up at the Plough and Barn at Leigh. They had me in stitches, honestly! These were my type of people! Fun, expressive, cheeky and playful! It was a perfect fit! My cheeks hurt!

I love it when the blokes want to get involved for some groom preparation photos. Yes, we always photograph the ladies, pretty much without fail and I love that as well. But the groom experience is that little less often so it feels luckier. It’s the jokes, the tight bonds of friendships, the hugs, the handshakes. Some would say it is bromance, but who cares! It is real and it feels right!
I did see Katie of course, at The Coulsdon Manor Hotel. It was a lot calmer, serene, well expect for all the flower girls hunting me down for photos. I think they viewed me as their phone selfie replacement, but I didn’t care! The light was gorgeous in the room not just for those ‘selfies’ but for a few bridal shots of Katie and show just great interactive ones with her mum.
We travelled on to The Scared Heart Church for the ceremony. Katie and Neil’s vicar was replaced at late notice due to illness, but we were in good hands! The rain held off for some confetti and group photos before we made our way to the Plough and Barn at Leigh.
I love Barn weddings, all rustic and full of fairy lights. Even though I have photographed at least 30 weddings here, it still feels great to return. Katie was all elegance while the ‘boys’ were all playful. It was sweet, emotional and it felt real, it felt good! If this sounds like you, get in touch, you already sound like the perfect fit with me!
