Rustic wedding venues Kent | Katherine and Richard’s Wedding
If you are looking for a Rustic wedding venues Kent, you need to check out The Plough at Leigh. You have a 17th Century Barn, the pub itself with drying hops and beautiful gardens. I can see why Katherine and Richard chose this wedding venue.
Not all weddings are traditional and I like that! Every couple should have the wedding that expresses the type of people they are. Even though Katherine and Richard have been together for years, the got engaged in Christmas and decided this was the year they got married.

Katherine wanted to buck the trend and wear a dress she wanted rather than the usual style of wedding dress. Her brother walked her down the aisle and her bouquet brought a lot of colour into their couple photos.
She would have liked the day to be one big picnic. Everyone sitting down on rugs in the garden. But as we all know the UK weather can be a little unpredictable, and it did rain later on their day. But this didn’t stop all their guests. They were still playing crazy golf in the garden and getting wet on the bouncy castle. There was some superb hula-hooping from both the kids and the adults. Everyone was up for a bit of fun!
Their wedding breakfast table plan reflected their love for very long walks here in the UK and overseas. Tables were sign posted with the locations they have fond memories of and the entire theme was outdoorsy and natural looking. Potted plants and fairy lights adorned the tables and I loved the simplicity of it all!
I love returning to this Rustic wedding venues Kent year after year. After photographing over 20 weddings here there is always something new to experience. Just like Katherine and Richard’s wedding!
