When Chloe, Lewis and I were planning their best pre wedding photoshoot ever, I knew Battersea Park in June would be the perfect backdrop. Battersea Park, nestled on the south bank of the River Thames, is not only a fantastic place to visit, but it offers a multitude of picturesque spots for any pre wedding shoot. From its serene lakes and stunning gardens to the charming pathways lined with leafy trees, the park is a haven for romance and adventure.

Chloe and Lewis, being the adventurous souls they are, found Battersea Park to be a playground of possibilities. The park’s sprawling 200 acres provided endless opportunities for creativity, fun, and spontaneity. Essential ingredients for the best pre wedding photoshoot. And let’s not forget, Battersea Park is a gem for a day out too, with its boating lake, adventure playground, and even a zoo!

The Best Pre Wedding Photoshoot: A Day to Remember

The session took place on a beautiful June day. Even though the sun wasn’t out, the park was  looking lush and vibrant. Chloe looked absolutely stunning in her flowing dress adorned with blues and yellows. Her outfit was perfectly complemented by Lewis’s pale trousers and light blue shirt. The colours they chose harmonized beautifully with the park’s green leafed trees, creating a visual symphony that was a joy to capture.

As a couple, Chloe and Lewis have a unique charm. They met at an amateur theatre group when they were just 17, and their shared love for theatre, dance, and adventure has been the foundation of their relationship. Now, as professional dancers, they brought a delightful energy to the photoshoot that I loved.

One of the most memorable moments was when they did a fantastic shimmy dance toward each other in front of the wall of fountains. We got incredibly lucky – the fountains were on, and the resulting photos were nothing short of magical. The laughter, the movement, the water droplets – it was like something out of movie production.

Chloe and Lewis’s hobbies include theatre, water sports, zip-lining, hiking, singing, and dancing. Their adventurous spirit shone through in every shot, whether they were striking dramatic poses reminiscent of their theatre days or playfully splashing each other by the lake.

Choosing the Perfect Photos

One of the best parts of a pre wedding photoshoot is reliving the day through the photos. Chloe and Lewis found it delightfully challenging to pick their favourites because there were so many great ones to choose from.
